Since 1981, Mr. Wederspahn has designed, developed and delivered a very broad range of cross-cultural programs for multinational companies. He has written over 70 articles, designed training materials and produced videos relating to intercultural training, and has been a consultant to numerous international government and private sector projects. He frequently gives presentations on intercultural topics at business and professional organization conferences. He also has spent fourteen years living and working as an expatriate manager overseas. During most of that time, he was a Country Director responsible for the morale and productivity of up to 120 U.S. expatriates. His duties required him to deal with host country government, civic and business leaders at the highest levels. He also supervised local employees and managers. Business travel has taken Mr. Wederspahn to 29 countries in Latin America, the Far East, Middle East and Europe. He has lived and worked abroad in five countries and is fluent in Spanish.

Mr. Wederspahn's formal education in cross-cultural studies began as an undergraduate at the University of Washington and continued with an M.A. degree from Stanford University and coursework at Harvard. He has extensive training in human relations and communication skills. He has also studied international law at the Universidad Libre in Bogotá, Colombia.
